The Design Alliance was responsible for renovating several classrooms into laboratories including:
An existing 1,310 square foot classroom was renovated to include new lab equipment and casework, the addition of two fume hoods with rooftop make-up air units as well as upgrades to general interior finishes and improvements to telecommunication distribution. The laboratory accommodates up to 24 students for both hands-on experiments and lectures.
A 1,390 square foot classroom, located in the building’s lower level, received building finish upgrades and new computer workstation furniture. This new lab supports up to 24 students and is primarily used by the Computer Engineering program.
Eleven laboratory rooms, located on the first floor were renovated. The scope included new laboratory furnishings, refurbishing existing laboratory furnishings, new mechanical systems and other associated support components.
