The private residence is set on a hilltop site, and the pavilion is sited to take advantage of the view to the rear.

The owner’s desire for a backyard spa developed into a glass enclosed pavilion of 850 square feet, including a spa area, a sitting area, a bath/dressing room and a kitchenette unit. As the main house is a large and traditional Georgian Colonial, the pavilion was designed to complement that style and uses many of the same materials and design elements.
