Professional Services Firm|
22,700 square feet - Interior architecture and expansion for the Pittsburgh office of a professional services firm
The Design Alliance Architects was retained by this professional services firm to renovate their existing space of 10 years.
It was the client's desire to create an office environment that reflects the firmís organizational changes and new national space standards. The firmís intent to "look different while living in the same space" had to be achieved with minimal expense.
The existing floor was redesigned to increase the size of public and shared spaces, while also increasing office density. A focus was put on employee interaction in the firmís common areas, such as the kitchen area, the pool room and the various conference/team rooms.
The majority of the offices and administrative spaces were relocated to the perimeter of the building to allow for access to natural light.
Curving walls and details greet and direct the visitor to the offices and team room areas. The architectural elements, including stainless steel and cherry wood detailing, compliment the new finishes.
