8,000 square feet - Interior Renovation of a portion of a former 1920ís department store for use as a food product testing, training and development facility
Heinz University was designed for the Heinz Foodservice Division in order to support the development, marketing and selling of Heinz products through hands-on training and demos, product samplings, testing and recipe development.
The facility contains a full service commercial kitchen for food
preparation demonstrations as well as a multipurpose classroom and educational support facilities. The classrooms can be reconfigured to function as conference facilities.
The awkward footprint was turned into an advantage by using it to zone the space for separate functions and to choreograph the movement of visitors through the facility.
